Speed Reduction Gear Set for Most PFM Shays

Speed reduction kit for most Pacific Fast Mail (PFM) Shay locomotives built bu United. Fits B2, B3, Pacific Coast, but not the "flywheel" Shay. Cuts speed of approx. 11 scale MPH at 12 volts (1/7th original). (Note: Kit results in VERY slow operation - too slow for many modelers

Instructions included; replaces a helical gear pair with a polished steel worm and a brass worm gear.
